The Centre for Cognitive and Brain Sciences (CCBS) of the University of Macau has been recently accepted as a formal member of Chinese Association of Brain Imaging.
The Chinese Association of Brain Imaging is responsible for performing multi-center neuroimaging trials and establishing the consortia and collaboratives, which enables the acquisition of large-scale, purpose-driven datasets that can then be used by the broader community to model and predict brain cognitive functions and clinical outcomes for brain disorders.
CCBS is located in Macau, a distinct fusion of multiculturalism that offers excellent brain research resources in language, children development and cognitive aging, and decision making and addiction. It is expected that high-profile research work will be carried out through this neuroimaging platform in UM to produce a number of key scientific outputs and discoveries with world influences.
